Sea Shanty Singers
Barnacle Buoys is a non-profit group of a cappella sea shanty singers based in North Somerset. We exist to enjoy our craft, entertain our audiences and raise money for our chosen charities. Our principle charities are the Childrens Hospice South West and the RNLI.

Shanties and songs of the sea will be performed at this wonderful venue from about 6pm.

Expect another fantastic day and evening of shanties and folk songs of the sea performed by some of the finest groups from the region and beyond - in the wonderful setting of Exeter’s Heritage Harbour. We will be there, of course.

Its worth a try and its on all weekend. We will be there on the Saturday so come down to Park Street, Bristol for a great day of swill and song.

Its the end of the wonderfully well-organised Somerset and Exmoor Coast Festival and so there is plenty to celebrate. At 5pm there will an open-air shanty concert at Sparkhayes campsite, Porlock featuring the Barnacle Buoys (as a prelude to an illuminated light show and walk to Porlock Marsh shortly after 7pm). This is a ticketed performance and there will be a cash bar and wood fired pizza as well. Weather permitting.
